Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu Valley is situated at altitude of 1336m above sea level and has occupied an area of 218sq miles. The valley has three major cities are Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur. These three cities are Newar indigenous inhabitants. There are hundreds of temples, and places, paved stone and metal images, carved wooden columns and pillars, these are Newari’s artistic achievements. Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Changunarayan, Kathmandu Durbar Square are some of the interesting places. The Royal Narayanhity Palace which has been changed into museum named Narayanhity Museum.

Lumbini

3_sliderLumbini is the birth place of Buddha was born on day of May at about 623 BC from Maya Devi mother and Suddhodhan father of Buddha. Lumbini is about 300 km far from Kathmandu to the south west of Nepal in Kapilbastu district in terai (plain area) of the country. This holy place is listed in UNESCO world heritage. The area of Lumbini occupies 256 sq km where the world’sbeautiful monasteries built by different Buddhist countries like China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Germany,Golden Temple and Royal Thai and observe the different architecture and prayer areas which archaeological evidence proclaim as the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautam or Lord Buddha in 623 BC. . The main attraction of this places are Maya Devi Temple, Lumbini Garden, Pushkarni pond and Ashok Pillar together there are many monuments.
Maya Devi Temple is devoted to mother of Buddha and Lumbini Garden where Buddha was born. Maya Devi had taken a bath in Pushkarni pond before giving birth to Buddha and also he had his purification in this pond. Ashok Pillar erected by Ashok proves that Buddha’s birth place is Nepal. Ashok was a great emperor of India at the time of 245BC.

Pokhara

The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of the fish-tail summit of Machhapuchhare (6977m) rising behind it create an ambience of peace and magic. The valley surrounding Pokhara is love to thick forests, gushing rivers, clear lakes and the world famous views of the Himalaya. Situated 200 km west of Kathtmandu. Pokhara is connected by air as well as by road from Kathmandu and Bhairawa, a border town near India. Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, fine peaks of Annapurna and others. There are luxurious hotels and many more tourist shops
