Kathmandu Nagarkot Trek is an easy and short trek. This trek is good for a short stay in Nepal and who have not good enough health for a long and hard trek.

We can see villages, farming, local people majority are Tamang ethnic, forests, temples, hills, and views of villages on this trip. We can see panorama views of Langtang range to the east north to see the mountains, tourists visit Nagarkot and Dhulikhel. During this trek, attraction places are Namo Budha, Dhulikhel, Nagarkot, and Bhaktapur. View of valleys and farming terraces is another secondary highlighted of this trekking route.

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu

When you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport then transfer to your hotel. A short briefing is given concerning trekking itinerary. On this day whether you want to take rest or visit Kathmandu Valley.

Day 02 Sightseeing in Kathmandu

This day you will be taken around Kathmandu on your tour of Buddhist and Hindu Temples and acknowledge of ancient local traditions besides these there are many places to explore so are depending on your interest

Day 03 Kathmandu to Dhulikhel (1675)(6hrs)

On this day, we leave for Dhulikhel at 8 A.M after breakfast. A car comes to pick up you with a guide and porter. You are driven to Panauti by the car takes about one hour to reach Panauti is a small town to the east of Kathmandu. We see people and villages while traveling. The car drops you at Sunthakhan a village that is the last car dropping place. We walk on the straight way through villages where old traditional houses are seen with domestic animals. We can see farming lands, orange gardens, and steep hills with various trees. We reach at Namo Budha a holy place for Buddhist people and where thousands of different colors of prayer flags have been hung on trees at the same time Buddhist followers worshiping and praying. Walking from Namo Budha to Dhulikhel is through forest hills and villages with old traditional houses. The ways are easy wide and narrow up and down. Dhulikhel is a small beautiful business town way to Tibet.

Day 04 Dhulikhel to Nagarkot (2175)(6hrs)

The second day of the trek begins at 8 a.m after breakfast. We walk up through forests and villages have small traditional local houses and farming. Sometimes we walk up and down and straightway. You enjoy a lot of walking and experience of local life. After 6hrs walk we reach Nagarkot is Situated 32km east of Kathmandu at an altitude 2175m above sea level. It is a popular tourist resort in Nepal. The panorama of major peaks of the eastern Nepal Himalaya Mt. Everest in the extreme north-east, Mt. Annapurna can be seen from here. Nagarkot is famous for sunrise and sunset viewing. Nagarkot means ‘fort of the city. It was the ancient trade route between Tibet and Kathmandu

Day 05 Nagarkot to Bhaktapur(1401m)(4hrs)

On this day, we get up early in the morning to see the sunrise and mountain views of Langtang range. After breakfast, we walk down to Bhaktapur through villages where local people are making local wine. We walk in a beautiful forest hill about one hour after it, we reach Changunarayan is situated at the end of a long ridge which runs well into the valley. It is said to have been built by King Hari Dutta in 323 AD and said to be the oldest temple in the valley. The temple is a beautiful and historic temple. Its origins go right back to the 4th century and many important stone images and sculptures dating from the Lichhavi period. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979. From Changunayan we catch a local minibus to Bhaktapur the bus takes 20 minutes to reach Bhaktapur. We stay overnight and the following morning as your request time the car comes to pick up you to Kathmandu transfer to hotel. We charge you Tour guide, trekking guide, porter, transportation, tour and entry fee. Customers pay for hotel accommodation and meal in your stay in hotels. We book a hotel as your request standard in Kathmandu where all types of hotels are available, in the context of Dhulikhel, Nagarkot, and Bhaktapur there are 3-star hotels and standard resorts.

Day 06 Bhaktapur to Kathmandu

After breakfast by car takes about 45 minutes to reach you in Kathmandu.

Day 07 Depart from Kathmandu

You are assisted to reach at the airport by our staff. You have to reach at the airport 3 hours before your plane leave.
