Annapurna Village Family Trek is created for mainly with family children. This trekking route is one of the best and easiest trekking trails in the Annapurna Region Trek to explore the exotic villages with their beautiful scenery, the traditional house of Gurung. To access Annapurna Village Family Trek is fly or drives to Pokhara from Kathmandu. Starting point at Naya Pul (1070m) and ending trekking point at Phedi (1130m).10 days trek offers exotic beautiful villages of Syauli Bazaar, Ghandruk, Chomrong, Landruk, and Dhampus. Magnificient views of villages, valleys, and mountains are highlighted for this trekking region.

During the trek is completely passing through villages and farming terraced. The trails are easy and comfortable for any ages for those who are interested to do trek Annapurna Village Family trek. The interesting village used paths up and down at maximum elevation (1940m). Inhabitants are indigenous Gurungs who are believed Mongolian race professionally farmers and soldiers. Dhampus village is mixed with Brahmin and Chetri.
The trek offers magnificent views of Annapurna South (7219m) Hiun Chuli(6501m) Mchhapuchhare (6995m) Lamjung Himal (6983m), Annapurna ii (7837m), and far beyond views of Annapurna iv (7525m), Annapurna iii (7555m) and Dhaulagiri (8172m). Rhododendron flower forests attract the trekkers in the spring season. white snow-capped Annapurna Himalaya range is very closely observed from the beginning of the trek. Day to day trek explores mountains. In Jhinu Danda there is a natural hot spring to dip into for good health.

The Annapurna village family trekking trail is easy and comfortable. The highest elevation is ( 1940m) at Ghandruk. we walk on villages used path which leads through charming biodiversity various color forest. Witness to the day to day lifestyle of this region. Up and down the path on stone stepped stairs, forest, rice field terraced, across ridges and amazing suspension bridges over rivers.while hiking charming sound of birds and insects sounds to ears in a different melody. Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu

When you arrive at Kathmandu International airport then transfers to your hotel. A short briefing is given concerning the trekking itinerary.

Day 02 Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

This day you will be taken around Kathmandu on tour for Buddhist and Hindu temples and acknowledge of ancient local traditions, besides these, there are many places to explore so are depending on your interest.

Day 03 Kathmandu to Pokhara by Car (max 6hrs)

Kathmandu to Pokhara is by car. Rest at the hotel and visit the market. Pokhara is one of the busiest tourist center and the most beautiful city of Nepal. Mt Fishtail and some parts of the Annapurna range are attractively seen from here. It is both trekking starting and ending point. There are trekking shops, banks, all kinds of standard hotels for tourists. Phewa Lake has joined to the Pokhara city. People enjoy boating, paragliding, golf and horse riding.

Day 04 Pokhara to Shyauli Bazaar (3-4hrs) (1540m)

A car or van leaves you at Naya Pul where the trekking point starts. The road leading to Birethanti where a bridge over Modi Khola (river) just end of the bridge ACAP check post from the post right direction trail to Shyauli Bazaar. we follow along the west bank of the Modi Khola which comes from Annapurna Himalayas. A gravel road through Chimrung village passing rice fields and waterfalls. The flat path consists of shops and tea shops along the trail. The rattling of divergent insects, the soulful chirping of barbets and some grassbirds twitting make the trek enjoyable. In the spring huge trees of cotton trees bloom in red color. We leave the gravel road on the left side then pick up the right side of the trail to Shyauli Bazaar which is on the calm bank of the Modi Khola. Here the lodges and cafes seem quite cosmopolitan.

Day 05 Shyauli Bazaar to Ghandruk

The trail to Ghandruk is climbing up from Shyauli Bazaar. stone steps local path leads on a ridge through Kimche village. Entering zigzag path through beautiful yellow and green color of rice fields, surrounding villages, Mt. Machhapuchhare and flowing Modi Khola are the attraction of this trek. from Above the Kimche village, the trail enters cliffs carved area to Ghandruk Village. Entering the area of Ghandruk there is a welcome gate. Ghanruk village inhabited of Gurung. One of the most beautiful villages in Nepal. The trails are well paved with stones and houses are traditional and thatched with a stone roof. There are health center, schools, museums, and excellent lodges and houses

Day  06 Ghandruk to Chomrong (2170m) (4-5hrs)

Leaving behind the Ghandruk, we follow the trail to Chomrong to the east direction. As the Ghorepani Ghandruk highway trail separates, where we descend to Kuri Khola to cross over a bridge and then climb to Kimrong Danda has a good resting place. Valley and village views are delightful to glimpse also Annapurna South and Mchhapuchhare appear into the eyes. After a short rest, we descend to Kimrong Khola, it takes about one hour. A suspension bridge is crossed over the Kimrong Khola at the ending point of the bridge there are lodges that serve food and drinks. Climbing steeply through a forest route joins to Chomrong highway trail. 10 minutes further to Chomrong side, there appears a big and long landslide area where there is a lodge. A flat walking midst Taulung village meets Jhinu Danda trail from this point 10 minutes further is Chomrong (2170m) is a big Gurung village. Lodges, cottages, and shops scattered along the trail. Panorama view of Hiunchuli is closely seen to the north side.

Day 07 Chomrong to Landruk (1565m) (3-4hrs)

Ten minutes ahead the Jhinu route on the left down to Jhinu Danda is a beautiful place with comfortable lodges. From Jhinu Danda 20 minutes walk down through forests you reach the bank of Modi Khola where there are two hot spring ponds with cement bathing pools. Hot water natural comes out from the ground. An attractive long suspension bridge is used to cross the Kimrong Khola. We follow down through bamboo bushes and forest trail to New bridge where there are three lodges that have accommodation available. A few minutes descending to Modi Khola is crossed on the suspension to the east side. Heading ahead flat huge rocks can view with waterfalls. switchback on the local trail on rice terraced fields finally, Landruk village of Gurung settlement is popular to see surrounding villages, valleys, and forests. Local buses and jeeps run to Pokhara on a dusty gravel road.

Day 08 Landruk to Pothana (1900m) (4-5hrs)

Day 8, the destination is to Pothana. The trail which we walk on an agreeable level dusty trail passes houses, Tolka, and Bhichuk pleasant villages. Tea shops and guesthouses are along the trail. From Bhichuk village the trail climbs completely forest sector to Pitam Deaurali Pass (2100m) which has three guesthouses. We can view of Pokhara valley far beyond villages. Now, the trail is through the entirely impressive forest on a ridge to Pothana (1900m) where a cluster of lodges and guesthouses are along the trail. Views of Machhapuchhare, Lamjung Himal are magnificent from Pothana. Permit receipt and TIMS are registered here.

Day 09 Pothana to Pokhara (3-4hrs)

Today is the last day of trekking. We follow down the route through a very charming forest and the trail is agreeable. The forest sounds full of chirping of diverse birds. It is a birdwatching location in Nepal. As we approach Dhampus village where we present the TIMS and company agency. Following gently dusty road passing the village reach lower Dhampus ridge which explores a panorama of Annapurna range Himalayas. Views of valleys, hills, and villages are perfect from the ridge. The trail directly descends passing the villages, rice fields and forest finally Phedi is trekking finishing point. By car, Jeep or van to Pokhara.
